Number of news:
Dear customers,

We will change our sales prices from August, 1st to a new pricelist.
The first price adaption for almost three years at HAIMER is inevitable due to further increases in energy and raw material prices.

For your information the company HAIMER manufactures – and we will keep at that in the future – all products exclusively in its headquarters in Igenhausen to guarantee the well-known HAIMER quality. Despite the industry´s continuing trend to shift production to the East or Far East or to purchase some products from low cost producers the company HAIMER still trusts in its highly qualified and motivated staff. You can rely on HAIMER products to be “made by HAIMER” to 100 %! Thanks to strict quality controls and state-of-the-art production, HAIMER sets quality benchmarks for several years now according to the slogan “Quality Wins” and will not lose innovation force in the future by keeping the research & development rate at the high level of more than ten per cent of turnover.

We highly appreciate your confidence in our products and are of course looking forward to cooperate with you in the future.

We will send you the new pricelist automatically within a short time (if you are already a HAIMER customer). Please feel free to ask for a new pricelist by E-Mail: sales@haimer-asia.com

New license partners for HAIMER Safe Lock system
(16.07.2009)

Haimer, market leader for tool holding systems and balancing and shrinking technolgyis proud to announce that the cutting tools manufactured by Dauphin Precision Tool, LLC and Berkshire Precision Tool, LLC have become official “Safe-Lock” licensees. This licensing allows the companies to add the “Safe-Lock” modification to the shanks of their Brubaker, Data Flute, Fastcut and Weldon cutting tools if so desired by their customers.

“Safe-Lock” is a system that combines our specialized Haimer holder along with shank modifications to enhance tool holding stability and security. Our licensees can add a special set of grooves to the shank of cutting tools to prevent the tool from twisting out of the tool holder during extreme machining conditions. This modification on the cutting tool shank works in opposition to the direction of the cutting forces, enhancing the security of the tool holding. This shank modification, in conjunction with our “Safe-Lock” holder, allows our customers to use the most technologically advanced shrink fit systems with full confidence. Our system supports high metal removal rates, reduced scrap rates, promotes stability and reduces vibration.

Leading aerospace manufacturers in the United States have used “Safe-Lock”to triple their metal removal rates, dramatically improve their productivity and increase machining capacity without additional capital investment.
“With the substantial increase in machining speeds, increases in performance demanded by our customers and resultant increases in the cutting forces and stresses on our tools, the move to the Haimer Safe-Lock system is important for us. We appreciate the vote of confidence from Haimer in granting this license to our companies.” according to Cliff Flynn Director of R&D for Data Flute. Additionally, according to Cliff Hanner who oversees Engineering and R&D for Brubaker, Fastcut and Weldon, “We believe that it is also important for us to be able to offer the Haimer Safe-Lock option to our aerospace customers and others who use large diameter end mills, in carbide, powdered metal and cobalt. Advances in work materials must be met with advances in cutting tools and workholding. Given their reputation for outstanding quality combined with the innovation of the Safe-Lock system, Haimer was a superb choice for us.”

Haimer (inventor of the “Safe-Lock” system), holds tight requirements of potential licensee’s, and they have full confidence in the ability of Berkshire & Dauphin to provide their cutting tools with the “Safe-Lock” groove properly. “We are honored to have the Brubaker, Data Flute, Fastcut and Weldon brands as partners in our “Safe-Lock” system. Together, we can help our customers take their high performance machining to the next level”, announced Brendt Holden, President of Haimer USA.

For more information on the “Safe-Lock” program, please contact your local Haimer representative throughout the world.

For more information on Data Flute please contact Ryan Morin, Brand Manager at 800.447.1476. For more information on Brubaker, Fastcut and Weldon tools, please contact Dale Wert, Brand Manager at 800.522.8665. Alternatively, you can visit their website at www.talbotholdings.com.
